Liquid Alkaline Buffer (dKH)

A non-phosphate buffer formulated to raise pH and buffer your aquarium water when used with MICROBE-LIFT/Aqua Acid Buffer. These two buffers are dedicated for the planted aquarium or for very hard water where phosphate buffers may pose an algae problem.

MICROBE-LIFT/Aqua Alkaline Buffer, when combined with MICROBE-LIFT/Aqua Acid Buffer, will buffer between 6.0 and 8.7. It is very gentle, safe and revitalizes the freshwater environment. This product is compatible with all other MICROBE-LIFT Buffers.

• Adjusts pH Higher to Any Range Between 6.0 – 8.7*
• Raises Carbonate Hardness (KH)

*When used in conjunction with Aqua Acid Buffer

Note: When used by itself this product will raise the pH to 8.2-8.3.
