It should be used when setting up a new tank, making water changes, when adding new turtles. MICROBE-LIFT/Extreme Water Conditioner removes both ammonia and chlorine by chemically reacting with them. MICROBE-LIFT/Extreme Water Conditioner detoxifies heavy metals (e.g. copper and lead) by both chelation and precipitation.

Recommendations

Perform regular water changes to keep the alkalinity (acid-neutralizing capacity) and pH stable.
Use MICROBE-LIFT/Extreme Water Conditioner, at the standard dosage rate, to eliminate and control each measured 1 mg/L, or fraction thereof, of total ammonia.
