Poultry manure is very high in nitrogen content, a factor which leads to the emission of high concentrations of ammonia when litter becomes increasingly fouled. As a result, toxic concentrations of ammonia can build up in poultry houses. Typically, ventilation is utilized to remove ammonia requiring additional heat to replace heat loss. MICROBE-LIFT/AOE-P acts to reduce the generation of ammonia from poultry litter improving bird health and reducing costs. MICROBE-LIFT/AOE-P incorporates the action of stable, highly active microbial cultures specifically selected and adapted for rapid uptake of ammonia ions with non-toxic ingredients such as ammonia, amines, hydrogen sulfide and mercaptans. These two buffers are dedicated for the planted aquarium or for very hard water where phosphate buffers may pose an algae problem. MICROBE-LIFT/Aqua Alkaline Buffer, when combined with MICROBE-LIFT/Aqua Acid Buffer, will buffer between 6.0 and 8.7. It is very gentle, safe and revitalizes the freshwater environment.
